Information about the semester ticket

Due to the cyberattack, some students have had problems accessing their semester ticket in the UDE app and logging in to the Nextbike app with their University email address. If you are still logged in to the UDE app, you can retrieve your ticket from there without any problems; there is no risk involved in doing so.

Semester ticket

  • The transport associations have been informed and have signalled that they will treat our students fairly.
  • Show your student ID and explain the situation.
  • If you have problems, the AStA will provide support.

The AStA has informed all transport associations in NRW and they have promised to be accommodating. Instead of showing your ticket in the app, you can show your student ID card or your confirmation of enrolment. You will then not have to present your ticket at a customer service centre and not be required to pay a fine. If a ticket inspector is not informed about the situation, explain the situation and contact the AStA if you are still asked to show your ticket at a customer service centre or pay a fine.

If you are still logged in to the UDE app, you can retrieve your ticket there without any problems; there is no risk involved in doing so.
