The automatic exercise and examination system „JACK“, which could only be used from the university’s network after the cyberattack, is also accessible from outside again.
As with other applications, this requires a password reset – as long as the login is done using the UDE ID.
Partner universities also have full access to the e-assessment system for self-directed learning and competence-oriented testing.
JACK is part of the project „Educational Equity in Focus“, a quality pact teaching project of the UDE, which has been funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research since 2011.
With JACK, students can solve tasks and have them assessed automatically. The tool supports the randomisation of assignments and provides detailed and individual feedback.
